Founded by Alfio Mian and his son Giuliano in 1962, Formia (Fornace Mian) now involves a third generation of the family, Simone and Patrizia. From the start, the Mian were directly involved in the management of the company, which has grown to the point of occupying a factory space of about 10,000 square metres and employing 90 people. Formia produces different ranges of light fittings and objects, whose design reflects various sources of inspiration.
