The first edition of MURANO GLASS MASTERS. L’isola del Vetro comes to Murano Island, the magical place in Venice, to honor its famous glass. Organised by Consorzio Promovetro di Murano, in collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, LaGare spa and supported by Comune e Provincia di Venezia, it is the first festival that offers to the public a special way to discover the story of the Italian Capital of Glass.

The Glass Museum of Murano will take part in the event, hosting the exhibition “L’incanto del vetro”, with a special opening of the museum (Saturday, June 12 h 9 pm – 11 pm).

Also in the Island, free demonstrations with Glass artisans, free tour of both furnaces and island churches, free workshop for kids, shops open till late in the evening and more: music and special cuisine menus…
